Walls that are severly bowed must be
straightened prior to reinforcement.
The exterior side of wall is excavated.
Temporary jacks straighten the walls.
Holes are drilled into each hollow core
of block wall.
Reinforcement bars are placed
vertically into the hollow block wall.
The wall is pumped full of cement.
Top of wall is coated with new parging.
The area of the wall that to be back filled,
will be pressure washed and resealed.

Basement walls that are slightly bowed
usually do not need to be excavated
and straightened.
