Push Pier
Push Pier Foundation Repair | Stop Foundation Settlement
Is your home sinking, settling unevenly, or showing cracks in walls, floors, or around door frames? Push piers, also called resistance piers or hydraulic push piers, are one of the most reliable and permanent solutions for stopping foundation settlement and restoring a sinking structure. Keystone Foundation Repair has installed push pier systems across our regional service area, bringing decades of settled homes back to stability.
Your home shouldn’t be sinking, and it doesn’t have to keep going. Find out what’s happening beneath your foundation before it gets worse.
How Push Piers Work to Stabilize a Sinking Foundation
Push piers are driven deep into the earth using the weight of the structure itself as resistance. Steel pier sections are hydraulically driven, one segment at a time, through unstable upper soils until they reach load-bearing strata or bedrock. A steel bracket is then attached to the foundation footing, and the structure’s load is transferred from the failing soil to the deep, stable pier.
Your foundation called. It wants help. Don’t ignore the cracks, the sloping floors, or the doors that won’t close. Keystone Foundation Repair has been answering the call since 1989 — and the inspection won’t cost you a thing.

In many cases, once the piers are installed and locked in, controlled hydraulic lifting can partially or fully restore the structure to its original elevation, closing cracks, re-leveling floors, and easing stuck doors and windows. Push piers can be installed from inside or outside the structure with minimal excavation, making them practical for both active repair and emergency stabilization.
Signs Your Foundation May Need Push Piers
Settlement is often a slow process, but the warning signs are usually visible well before major structural damage occurs. Watch for:
- Cracks in drywall, especially diagonal cracks from door and window corners
- Doors and windows that stick, bind, or no longer close properly
- Uneven or sloping floors throughout the home
- Gaps forming between walls and ceilings or floors
- Visible foundation cracks, especially at corners
- The home or sections of it visibly tilting or sinking
We know foundation repair sounds stressful. It doesn’t have to be. No jargon. No pressure. No surprise costs. Just a free inspection, an honest recommendation, and a team that’s been doing this right since 1989.
